Some good news and bad news…

First the good news: our partner courier has just informed us that they will resume operations hopefully by May 25, 2020. Just like most businesses, in order to comply with government regulations, they won’t be fully operational, they’ll only be having 50% workforce. So there will be some delays with the deliveries.

If you want a battle ready samurai, here are the steps on how to make one. They’re easy to understand with a lot of photos.

Before you proceed, you agree that you’re 18 years old and above.

First, there’s a ceremony…

Contest time! It’s been a while, and since most are at home during this lockdown, we thought it would be nice to hold one and help pass some of the time away.

What do you have to do? Write an article about us. What’s in it for you, you might ask? A hand forged, fully functional katana.

With the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon, shipping is temporarily suspended until further notice. That’s the final nail in the coffin. We cannot ship anywhere until everything is back to normal.

Geisha’s Blade will remain online to answer inquiries and our website can still accept orders, but they’ll only be shipped once the quarantine has been lifted.

We’re slashing off 10% on the original price of all of our available katana, wakizashi, and tanto.

This promo starts December 15 until December 18, 2019 only. Place your order now to avoid delay due to the holiday rush and while we still have stocks of your favorite sword!

*Please note that items on sale are not applicable for our Layaway Plan.

Last November 2016, we were invited by the United Kendo Federation of the Philippines to exhibit our products at their 1st Philippine National Kendo Tournament (check out the photos here). We had a great time as we’ve finally met our long time followers from Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao in person. We’ve talked about Japanese swords and Japanese martial arts. We also wanted to exhibit our products at the next kendo tournament, however, it was held in Davao and logistics of our products was a problem. The same thing happened with their 3rd kendo tournament which was held in Cebu. Kendo clubs all over the Philippines take turn in hosting the tournament.

Regardless of the steel type, our swords weigh more or less 1kg. The weight depends on the material of the fittings, length, width, and thickness of the blade. The type of steel isn’t really a factor in regards to the weight as most of our swords have more or less the same specs.

This was our longest running exhibit ever that lasted for a month, making this our 12th exhibit to date. We were invited by Shangri-La Plaza to display our products at the 22nd EIGASAI Japanese Film Festival 2019. We were allowed to sell swords, but unfortunately our new stocks haven’t arrived yet so we just displayed swords from our personal collection as well as swords from our friends (swords they purchased from us before).
