Product Description
Geisha’s Blade version of Aoshi Shinomori‘s Double Kodachi – the first and most accurate fully functional version in the market (1st released in 2010). This is based on the popular anime/manga Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin). When the swords are in their saya, they appear to be part of a single sheathed sword: one blade having a regular katana handle with fittings and fully wrapped, while the second blade is inserted in the other end that blends in with the saya itself (like a shirasaya), giving it the impression of being a nodachi (a very long field sword). When in fact, there are two swords.
Please note that the tsuka of the 2nd kodachi (end of saya) is actually shorter than in the photos. Please refer to the last photo for the comparison of the tsuka lengths and see measurements below.

Very nice piece, love the artwork on the tsuba, the blades look excellent. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Very happy for my first purchase from Geisha’s Blade.
