Product Description
“Momiji” means maple leaf in Japanese which is the design of the saya of our Momiji Tanto. The blood red tsukaito compliments the maple leaves which turns red during Autumn. Our Momiji Tanto has a shinogi zukuri blade shape (common blade shape of Japanese swords) with no sori (curvature). The fuchi-kashira depicts sakura or cherry blossoms. The design of the saya features maple leaves and gourds which is made to look like “maki-e”.
* Please note that the color of the tsukaito appears darker in person.

I just received my Momiji Tanto last night. The whole thing was beautiful upon inspection. It was slightly lighter than what I expected. Of course, I could not resist the urge to try it out for a few cuts and stabs today. For its kind, it really did it’s job well. It went through some water-filled plastic bottles with ease.

Just got mine today from Geisha’s Blade booth at the History Con event! Can’t really believe it, I actually own now one of my most coveted blades hehe! Such a beautiful blade, I love the black and red combo ^_^
Definitely made my day!
